Sheer Bliss!

It's going to be difficult to choose just the right colour ... there are so many beautiful ones. Doesn't this look wonderful? It's the Debbie Bliss wall at the Lamb Shoppe. The store opened just a few weeks ago. If I can be of any help, and you need something, let me know and I'll send it along. I don't mind shopping for others - I get to go the yarn store with minimal damage to my budget - you'll notice that I didn't say "no damage" :-)

Having a bit of a crisis of faith re the colours now! Still, I'm not going through all that angst again to pick something else, so these will have to be it!

I'm looking at a couple of summer tops from the new IK, so I don't think I'm going to start very soon. (May swatch though).

My drawing is rubbish but I'm aiming for something like this (ignore the scribble about yarn amounts!):

Thankfully there was also a note to say the rest of it will follow in five days, but I nearly had a funny turn when the postman waved this at me this morning!

Apart from the little tiny bits on the shade card, this is my first proper 'in person' sight of Cathay and I have to say it both looks and feels absolutely lovely! I'm really glad I didn't substitute for anything else now.

I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of it :)

I have taken the plunge...

...and ordered my yarn! I decided it *had* to be Cathay for me and I picked 06 khaki/green for the main body, 01 black for the collar, front and epaullete trims and lower sleeves, 16 grey/silver for the plackets and 05 gold for the sleeve trims and cord fastners. I ordered from Ems. I don't mind if it takes a while, as I'm not ready to start for a bit and her prices were so good.

Now I just hope the colours all work like I think they will!
