Very quiet in here!

I heard a rumour that nanatoo had started. Got anything to show us?!

I've been thinking about getting one of these i-cord makers. I can see my Sgt P lying unfinished for some time while I knit all those lengths of it for the fasteners! They cost about a tenner, which isn't too bad, as I'm sure it would come in handy for other things. I've heard they're a bit rough on some natural fibres though (like Kureyon etc), so I hope Cathay would stand up to one.

I did a little bit (it's actually quite loose, I was surprised) but I frogged it. Still not ready really :)

I think that's a good idea, DC has got one and I think I will too. Yes, let's hope Cathay won't get eaten up by it.

Yep I ordered one from Angel Yarns, still back-ordered though. Thought it might save sanity cos i-cord takes so long to do :-D

The I-cord maker would be helpful, I think, for the Colour on Colour scarf from Scarf Styles... another project that I need to finish up!

I'll be interested to hear how you like Cathay. I read that someone doing another sweater had a big problem with changing gauge after her sweater was washed.

I love Colour on Colour, it's a beautiful scarf.

Oh no, not another jumper that's not going to fit after it's washed! It'll be like my Giotto jumpers all over again. And I still haven't emailed Colinette about that. I knitted Nothing But A T Shirt in Cathay but haven't worn it or washed it yet.

No, I don't swatch and wash swatches. I am lazy ;)

Hmm, I've never bothered to wash a swatch either. Might do for this though - I'd be rolling around on the floor and gnawing the carpet if I made it and it didn't fit!

No, no, no ridiculous woman! Me, I mean :P My NBAT is in Calmer of course. But I still haven't worn it. No experience of Cathay yet.
